So Facebook has begun the big export, selling off their private messaging function into its own entity...

Seriously though, what IS the point of the new Messenger app?

I now have bobbing circles on my phone's home screen whenever I get a message. Then it doesn't go away even when you read the message. You're trying to search for a contact or read a message, and it just stays there.

Then in annoyance of that, it took way too much effort to figure out how get rid of it (but it's possible).

Why?! Yes, a total first world problem, but such an unnecessary one. The whole point of Facebook is convenience in its communication, so this just defeats that whole purpose. I question whether any of its added features couldn't just be done in the regular app.

I'm not the only one annoyed according to News.com.au. While it made me think of deleting the app, I need this to be able to communicate with so many people. So it's not really an option. But it's worrying just how much privacy I'm sacrificing for it.

OK.

He stopped soon after I blogged, I watched TV in peace.

Now it's 12.31am, I want to go to bed, and he's started again.

I don't care if it's a Friday night, not everyone's ready to rage.

Douche.

My neighbour has decided to become a DJ.

Tonight he's decided to test some of his mixes.

The volume level goes up and down.

The thin walls shake from the vibrations.

I'm trying to begin a weekend of hermitness by
watching Downton Abbey on my not-so-loud laptop.

 Angry face.

It may appear that I've been neglecting my blog the majority of the time lately, save for the film reviews.

But I haven't, I promise!

A couple of weeks ago I ran into a dilemma where my free Picasa photo storage had run out... it's still the same situation.

Now, I have done some research. Forums are a great place to discover whether or not it's just you or others with the same problem. Turns out there is someone who is in the same mess as me. Unfortunately there has so far been no solution to the issue.

This upsets me because there are so many entries I've been meaning to make - there is more to my On the road to nowhere series for one thing, and obviously life and tacky shoes haven't stopped for this.

The easiest thing for me to do would be to get on a plan, where I get oodles of storage for a small monthly fee. But I don't need the space they're offering so I feel it would be somewhat wasteful.

I will keep working on it.

Sorry folks.
